Looking for DC wiring info on 2008 Intl 19

Hello,
Would anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for a 2008 19' (or close?) showing the wiring for batteries, solar charger, inverter, etc.? Even a block diagram would help. I know I can call AS support Monday but I'm trying to figure out the wiring this weekend. Anything would help.

Thanks in advance,
Mike

Wiring diagrams for my 2002 International CCD were included in my owner's manual. I also found them online on the Airstream site. I'm not sure if the same is true for 2008 models but you should try checking online. Hopefully diagrams will be posted there.

I've looked online, and found the same thing as in my owners manual, which is a brief diagram in the solar system, but not the overall DC wiring I'm looking for.

Thanks,

Mike

Though the 2008 and 2004 May be slightly different the 2004 manuals have both the 12vdc and ac wiring diagrams. The 2008 manual doesn’t appear to have them. You might go back a couple of years to find the diagrams. They are likely fairly similar.

Cstein, great tip. The 2004 International owner's manual has 157 pages, including the diagrams I'm looking for (which should be close enough for me), vs. the 99 pages for the 2008, with no electrical diagrams. Interesting.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Happy trails,

Mike

Well, I'm not getting very far in this search for a diagram of the DC system on my 2008 International 19' although I'm not sure the year and length make a lot of difference.

I looked at the owners manual archives and found a diagram for the 2004 year but it doesn't have an inverter in the system, which is one of the components I'm looking for in the diagram. The newer model year owners manuals don't have a DC diagram.

I called Airstream today and they have nothing on this system in terms of a diagram. I have two sets of red/black cables connecting to my batteries, and I'm sure one set is for the inverter. AS support says they woild have wired the inverter after the DC bus and there were no cables to the battery, and that someone must have added these later. I don't think that's right.

Does anyone have a diagram showing the DC components of their system and how they are connected? I'm looking to install a battery disconnect switch and replace the battery cables with thicker gauge, but I'd like to understand a little better how things are connected.

I may have to dig in and explore but hoped to understand how things should be connected before I do. I understand how to connect the switch from another thread but looking for a bigger picture. Anyone have one from AS or one they did themselves?

Thanks in advance,
Mike
