Location of Inverter

We purchased a used 2011 20ft Flying Cloud. In all of the manuals we received, there is a users manual for a Sunforce 200 watt power inverter. I am trying to figure out where this inverter might be in my Airstream and/or if this is a true inverter or something that is related to the solar in it. I have checked under the bed at the front and nothing there. Any ideas or thoughts much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum!

You might want to ask in the 20-footer thread, which is dedicated to our model:

Our 2014 FC20 has the inverter under the bed in front, as you mentioned. Any chance the previous owner removed it? Do you have a switch/button to turn the inverter on, and have you checked the inverter outlet for 120 volts? Maybe it is hidden, but our 20' are pretty small, so you probably would have found it I guess. Does your Airstream owner's manual say anything? A 200 watt inverter is pretty small . . . maybe the previous owner used it and removed it?

Good luck,

Peter

I see this is your first post. Welcome to the forum.

I "think" there is no inverter the in a 2011.
Converter, yes. It is built into the power distribution center.
As far as I know, an inverter is not mentioned for a 2011, in either the Owners Manual or Parts Manual.

ps:
If there is an inverter, there will be locations where two electrical outlets are mounted side by side. Look near the radio/cd player and also behind the TV. One of the two outlets at these locations will be a single outlet (not a duplex with two plugs) for the inverter power.

Wondering if you got this figured out?

Happy trails,

Peter
