Finally got to this little project/MOD. The addition of LED indicator light above the electric and propane switch that illustrates when the switch is in the on position. This makes knowing if the water heater is on or off as simple as a glance.
I had a friend who did this to his trailer give me the pair of Linrose LED’s that I used for this project. Model number B4302H5
12V Here’s a link

This project was a little more involved than some I have done, not hard, just tedious.(small parts)
Start by removing the switch cover by slipping a small flat head screwdriver behind the cover a prying it off. You will then need to carefully mark the locations for the 2 LED lights above the switches on the switch cover. Once you have the locations marked you will need to carefully drill two pilot holes in those locations and then enlarger the holes to the required 17/64” for the LED bezel.
I soildered a piece 24ga wire to each LED lead and isolated the leads with heat-shrink.
The rest of the project involved connecting the (-) Neg leads of each LED to the negative wire on the failure light and the (+) Pos lead from each LED to the switched side of its correlating switch. (LED will illuminate when switch is on and turn off with the switch)
When all hooked up, confirm everything works as it should and reinstall the switch in the wall. Be careful to tuck all the wires back in place neatly and resecure the switch cover.
Wow this one was hard to explain. Hope the details are at least somewhat clear. See the photos for more detail.
