irritating electrical hum.

Have a '90 29'ft new to me Excella.

When I plug the coach into the house 110 power I hear an annoying electrical hum from what I suppose is the transformer behind the sofa.

Some, like me, are very sound conscious so there is no way I can relax or sleep with that whine going on.

Other than unplugging, is there some way of defeating that whine--perhaps a new edition of transformer or something?

Some trailers had a cut off switch located behind the curtain on the curbside front wall. This would give you some peace and quiet.

Raj, I don't know what is in your 90, but the 70s they had a unit called a Univolt with a definite hum. If you don't get into the idea of being in a monastery of chanting monks consider changing out your converter to a new silent unit like a Intellipower.
