I have a recurring problem. Intermittently, the inverter AC bypass shuts down. No lights on the display. No power at the inverter outlets. Microwave also shuts down. The current work around is to plug the inverter into an alternate outlet. As a precaution I unplugged the microwave and am using an alternate outlet. Power to the inverter outlet is intermittent and when non-functional, the convection microwave outlet is also non-functional. Why would the factory wire an appliance that requires
1500 running watts to the inverter that supplies 1000 watts. The problem is not directly linked to the operation of the microwave. Did the factory run a hot from the inverter to the dedicated microwave circuit? Airstream located the inverter in a location that it is impossible to read the display. I am thinking the inverter outlet maybe bad or have a bad connection.
