interior switches

As soonas yo walk through the door in a 1971 overlander there is two switchs to the right the far one turns on the outside light the other I tested every outlet and light and I can't figure out what it does.
Any ideas???

Turns the light on over galley sink, or the ceiling light near the sink.

On our 71 one turns on the "scare light" on the side of the trailer - the other turns on the step light above the door.

Same thing in my previous '77 Excella 500. Outside light on one switch and over the galley sink on the one beside it. Further toward the front curbside another switch turns on the scare light. I sure miss that switch to turn on the galley light before stepping into my '86 Sovereign.
