I'm a little short, can u help?

A short in your camper, that is! Ha, ha, just as your are all hooked up, you’ve packed your franks and beans, and folding chairs and towels and beer and soda, your bread and eggs, just as you are getting ready to pull out, I get you! “Dang, didn’t that light just work?” you ask. I don’t know, but I’m shorting you out right now! I will keep you from leaving, and yes, I will wait until the thunderstorm is getting ready break to strike so you have to lay on the ground in the rain! You don’t know enough to find me quick enough. I will ruin your vacation! Too bad for you! Mu-hahahahaa!!!

Folks, the preceding story is true. Just as we went to pull out of the driveway Thursday, my wife said that the left hand brake light didn't work. I tried new lightbulbs, I found that the LH brake/turn terminal from the tow vehicle wasn't giving any voltage, it kept blowing the TV fuse. I was real worried that when I put on the new marker lights I did something wrong, and didn't know where to begin.

Short story, I called pattersontoo, and he suggested the trailer and tow vehicle connectors. Sure enough, that's what is was, the ground had pulled from the terminal inside the trailer connector. Follow Lou's advice and check that first.
