How the Victron Multiplus Works

If you’ve ever wondered how the Victron Multiplus hybrid inverters work, Victron has published this 20 minute video just for you. It’s helpful to have some basic knowledge of electronics. If you know what a sine wave, FET and a transformer is you’ll be fine.

It’s pretty clever how Victron combines an inverter and a converter in the same package that can also supplement your incoming AC with battery power.

Yeah, that is one of the very big advantages of the package when running A/C on a small 2K generator. You set the control for the max amps you want to draw from the generator and the battery/inverter picks up any additional AC load that pops up.
