I have. You just wire it up in-line at the earliest place you can access the shore power wire, before the breaker box.

Same for me. Exterior plug is just in front of the rear end cap on the street side. Attached the unit above the plug, which placed it at the rear of bathroom sink cab. A removable partition separates it from water lines and storage space. Remote display is mounted to the left of the cabinet under the counter top.
