My Bambi 19 lessons

I have full timed in my 01 Bambi 19 for over 2 years in central Texas. I have a paired Honda EU2000 and EU2200 companion that will run for ~ 9 to 10 hours in Eco mode on topped off tanks. Even when over 100 degrees out I never need to set AC beyond low fan and #6 temp to keep it nice and chilly inside. Usually I turn it down to 4 or 5 at sunset. Initially I used the EU2000 solo but it started to overload if I waited until it was hot out to turn on the AC. Also refueling every 3 or 4 hours sucked especially at night. I keep a log with start and run times and always change oil (Mobil 1) at 100 hours. I've been very happy with the set up.

I'm sorry, I'm too lazy to read all that to see if it has been asked already.

Are you plugged into a 30 amp outlet on the generator or a 15/20 amp outlet? You using your 30 amp RV cord or a household extension cord?

You can start the AC on a 20 amp non GFIc circuit but nothing else. Especially not the microwave. And also the GFI outlets on the generator won't work like a GFIC if there isn't a ground connection.

Sorry about problems. Your generator has plenty of juice to run AC. I do agree sound like short in AC, possibly in switch in blower controls. My Coleman Mach 3 Power Saver 13,500 starts up and works well with my 2000 Honda Companion with 30 amp plug and 20amp breaker. Hope just a simple fix. Be Safe. Mitch
