Not without dropping the ceiling. Holes in joist are small and sharp. You will need access to both thread the cable and protect it.

I agree with GMFL, you will have much better odds with something like the link below. Google replacing HDMI connectors, there are quite a lot of “how to” articles available.

fishing hdmi cable through ceiling

I did the same thing. I bought a kit like what is linked in previous post to replace the end of the cable. Watched some YouTubes and it’s a bit tedious and each wire needs to be toned to make sure they match. In any case it only comes from the DVD player which I don’t use so I’ve never made the repair yet. I just use OTA (rarely) or (mostly) stream from my phone using an HDMI dongle. I’ll fix eventually.

Can you tie the new cable to the old one and fish (pull) it through?

Absolutely not. It is not possible due to the fact Airstream sprays the insulation glue after the trailer is wired. This means the wires are “glued” to the walls. Kinda sucks that’s it’s not possible.

It would be nice if they added a wire raceway that could be used for things like this and upgrades.

That's the kind of things you and I would do if we were rebuilding a unit from scratch. Thor/Airstream sees that as an extra $2 and 15 minutes of labor to add on the assembly line. So it gets the big "Negatory".
Also wiring harness are assembled on jigs so everything is a bundle. a pull tube complicates laying that bundle in the dead space.

Totally agree and understand.

What Thor needs to understand is they are trying to move to flagship type of features that diverges from the old "camping only" mentality....i.e. tvs, radio, satellites, AS connected, CZone...so in that same vein, they should realize that customers will demand and Thor should realize that customers can and will upgrade outside the paradigm of Airstreams "vision" of what they think the trailer should be and how it operates.

Hell, I look at my trailer in just 3 years...I've added some hardcore tech to it for our needs...it could expanded more if I could pipe Ethernet cable and additional power without all the hassle of "how do I do this" vs. hey, here is a nice 2" pipe I can fish connections from front to back.

But I digress, we will just have to find way to be creative to achieve the tasks at hand.

How bout something like this:

https://smile.amazon.com/Wireless-Tr...ps%2C88&sr=8-3

That is as small as I could find it....uses power from the devices HDMI connector to power the devices.

Expensive, but certainly a lot less hassle.
