Fantastic fan with clear hood—where to buy?

Seems like all I can find for new-install fantastic fans are smoked acrylic hood. We want lots and lots of light. Seems like you can buy replacement clear hoods, but not get a new fan WITH a clear hood INSTEAD OF a smoked hood.

We have the "smoked" Maxxfan" and it lets in plenty of light. It looks black, but it's really like a tinted window, still lets a lot of light through.

Hi, I just moved to Florida and if I had clear fan covers, I would drag my fanny up on the roof with a can of spray paint to darken them. Unless you live in Canada and in the woods, the clear cover will turn your Airstream into a toaster oven. Even the smoke allows a lot of heat gain in summer.
On a calm day, open your fan covers without turning the fan on. If you like the glare go for the clear cover.
