Exterior Outlet problem

We just got a 73 (?) Ambassador and we bought the huuuge extension cord to plug it into our electricity and we have a slight problem.

The black cord that is supposed to come out of the compartment of the rear bumper is in the bathroom. The only way to plug in to electricity is to run the electrical cord through trailor. Does anyone have any tricks to guide it back to the compartment in the rear bumper?

I'm assuming you know how it is supposed to be routed. The only way to do it is to remove the cord from the breaker box, and shove it through from the outside. If somebody has cut off and replaced the end, you could remove the end and shove it through.
