I would like to route several heavy gauge cables from the AC distribution panel area to the front storage compartment. The run looks pretty straightforward other than the area I can't see behind the sliding cabinets in the lav. My plan was to drill a hole in the bedroom/lav wall down at the floor closest to the aluminum skin in order to achieve what Lewster did
here.
My concern is that at the exact location I want to drill, the wall sounds very solid, much more so than anywhere else on the bathroom/lav wall panel. It's as if there is a 2" thick piece of wood there. I don't want to drill into something important, or drill a hole and not be able to route cable like I'm expecting.
The alternative is crossing through the chase that leads from under the stove to under the wardrobe, running the cable to the front of the trailer on the street side, and then crossing again under the bed to the curb side. Not as clean and more cable.
I would prefer to accomplish the bathroom routing without pulling cabinets. Does anyone know (or have pictures of) what's back there?
Thanks!
