Does anyone remember the fellow and his company that installs an electrical monitoring system for the trailer. I met him at the Florida rally in Sarasota. I have a lower locker on street side that is rusting away and it has a slight charge that one cqn feel.

Could have been Lewster, he was based in Marco Island, but is very likely on the road now, shoot him a PM.

I dont think its him. The fellow I am thinking has a company like precision electronics or vp something. I was painting the curb side locker with Pur15 a compound that turns rust into metal when I noticed my hair on my arm was stinging, there is an electrical charge in the metal!
If you are getting shocked when touching the metal on the trailer the chances are that the hot leg and the neutral are reversed. Or you have a hot wire touching the metal part of your trailer. In either case you have a problem with the earth ground connection as well.
You should have an experienced electrician trouble shoot the problem. Also tell him that the neutral should not be grounded to the trailer frame. Only the earth ground and DC common should be connected to the frame or skin of the trailer.
If you have the experience and knowledge you can trouble shoot it yourself.
But you need to get the problem fixed soon.
I have a electrical monitoring system that I have been trying to find out its maker. Thought I had it on my computer so I did not write it down before I left the AS. A few days ago it showed open ground. I went back and re-plugged in the electrical cords before the shore cord and the monitor showed no open ground but the problem still exists. I will go back tomorrow and get the installer's name and call him.
