DC Goodies

Looking for some 12V DC goodies without much success.

A three way switch. Not the ac style but the marine contura style.

A dusk to dawn sensor for 12Volt. I don't need motion detector just something that turns on the circuit at night and off during the day that has a low draw.

The design of the electrical system is nearly complete for "The Bat Cave Express". I hate this cold weather but I am making progress on some of the design issues.

I would try the boating suppy houses, West Marine, Boating World are a couple right off hand and if that failed I would try www.grainger.com. Grainger deals more with industrial stuff, but I was able to put in the magic words and see their on line catalog and buy the circulating fan that I was looking for.

Check out the APC Photoswitch PC-20 12V $37.00

I'm not sure what you mean by three-way switch. Do you mean a double-throw switch with a center off position, or an Off-1-2-Both switch?

What's a contura style?

Marine Electrical Supply

Contact these people and tell them what you think you need. If it is workable, they will assist you with a solution and product.

This style. http://www.bluesea.com/dept.asp?d_id...1=7459&l2=7489

Three way has on and on with a wire between them the two switches. Turning either switch changes the state of the circuit. A spdt can work except the off position is a nuisance. If either is set to off the other one cann't turn the circuit one. In fact that could have it's uses but not for the fresh water pump.
