Same noise level as Yamaha 2000. Half the price. Might be worth a try!

Spend the extra $200-$300 and get a Honda.
You get what you pay for.

I would point out that Costco members are allowed to return an unsatisfactory product. There's not much risk in trying it out, I would've bought one already if I didn't have my thoroughly satisfying Yamaha EF3000iSEB... and then I'd be annoyed, because Costco just started carrying the iQ version of that Smarter Tools one a month or two ago, which is capable of parallel operation and Costco offers the parallel kit for free on request (the kit is not in stores, it seems, but they'll ship you one.)

America's junkyards and dumps are full because of "discounters" like Cosco and Walmart selling imitations of everything. Get the genuine Honda and you know it is quiet at all loads, works perfectly, and will last you for years. And it's worth something if you decide to sell it.

In that case how do you feel about this one?

Specs say 64 dB, so not nearly as quiet as the Honda, Yamaha, or Costco knock-off.
