Circuit breaker

2007 Classic 31
Square D breaker box

I want to replace a double pole 20 AMP breaker and am having trouble finding one that will fit due to the narrow slotin the breaker box.. There are no numbers on the bad breaker other than Series 2, and 2.5-6 mm.

This breaker protects the Air Conditioner and several 110 outlets.

Does anyone know the exact nomenclature for the breaker, or where I can find one?

Try Homedepot, take the original to compare configuration. Brand doesn’t matter

That's not a double pole, it's a single pole twin, and it's a QO series. Brand does matter both for proper fit and for code especially on that breaker as the QO fits like no other manufacturer with it's "crows foot" type of bus connection along with the rejection hook that only allows it to fit in certain panels. I have several in the garage and I will see if they have a part number. Is it a 15/15, 15/20 or 20/20?

I got the answer from Square. It is a QO T2020 for the knowledge base.

here's your UPC, prices range from $26 to $46 online 047569008962

Why are you changing it? They rarely go bad, especially the QO series which are at the top of the circuit breaker food chain.
PS the 2.5-6mm squared is your metric wire size range.

Whenever a circuit breaker is suspected to be bad but no apparent evidence the easiest solution is to switch it with another one in the panel and see if the problem follows the circuit breaker.
