Built-in Surge Protector Bypass

Looking to install a bypass for my 50 amp built in Surge Guard. The reason is mainly because I am concerned it will fail at some point when I am on the road but also because I have issues running on a inverter generator. Not looking for opinions on that, just the bypass hardware.

Looking to add a second shore power inlet (30 amp plug):

Then a rotary switch:

The switch is wrong, I am aware of that, anybody know the correct switching device?
