This weekend we were over 100 degree weather, had A/C, vent fans, and micro going. We were hooked to 50 AMP service at RV park. 20 Amp breaker tripped twice, once with only air and vent fans on, the other when Micro, A/C were going. Does the breaker need changing out? Also, is it possible to upsize the standard A/C?
I could be low voltage at the campground, or it could be a breaker or wire tightness issue which on a 2014 should be handled by Airstream under warrantee.
It may be hard to duplicate at the dealer of course.
Why are you running the vent fans (I assume the Fantastic Vents in the ceiling) while you are running the AC? That will only pull hot air in through every crack in the trailer and can easily overcome the AC cooling capacity.
It is unlikely that your circuit breaker is bad. If you do decide to replace it you'll want to make sure that you don't install a larger breaker in it's place.
While a larger breaker might eliminate tripping, it will also increase the probability of a nasty fire.
