Bedroom Fan Install
A small fan can make all the difference in feeling cooler. We tried different types, but they always took up too much space or were in an awkward location. My wife found a post about the Caframo Sirocco II fan and I finally got it installed today between the beds. It works great and highly recommended. See the attachments.

Very cool (pun intended)! Can you add the link where you found it? Is it AC or battery powered?

Yes, a fan makes a big difference. I use a computer fan and set it on the night stand.

It's 12 volts. I spliced into one of the bed reading lights for power. Here's an Amazon link to the fan:

Really a great fan. Very quiet and energy efficient. I wired them Attachment 366328 into the fantastic fan wiring. A bit pricey but worth it. There is a great utube video that describes the fan characteristics . Jim

I've seen these but hesitated in buying them. I just found them in black for $68!, Bought two.

Good purchase. I think I paid twice that much on Amazon.ca. I think that you will be happy with your purchase. I know we sure are. Jim

Hi Jim, I’m pretty handy and bought one of these fans. Is it hard to splice into the wires?

I've tried for two days to access that site. Wonder if they're out of business?

It was a very simple normal splice. Depending on the location of your source of power, you may have to drill a hole. Always hard to drill a hole in an Airstream. Jim

You may wish to try Amazon.com. It seems to be available there. Jim

Yes I see they’re available. I’m waiting to see if PayPal can get my money back.

Sorry to hear about the problem. PayPal is usually pretty good at resolving these types of issues. Good luck.

Hopefully Paypal will get your money back.
After a bit of research found this site which concludes Cufflayer is a scam:

Bummer, would love to get one for $68 instead of the $105 Amazon wants for a black one. Thinking of replacing the bedroom TV with this fan, since we don't watch TV in bed.

OK, I went ahead and got the Scirocco fan from Amazon, in black. Looks good.
Would like to remove the bedroom TV, since we've never watched it (and leave it unplugged since turning on the front TV with the remote tends to turn it on too).
I'd like to mount the fan where the TV is, perhaps even using the TV's articulating mounting arm to increase the adjustment range. But where to get 12v power?
The TV is mounted on the shower wall, which may limit access to power sources.
Any ideas?

You may have to look at the ceiling as well. You can draw power from the fantastic fan and because your new fan can be mounted with the sticky backing, it can be a temporary mount for testing. Also you may find that you will want another one. The power for mine can be observed in the photo. Jim

Paypal will undoubtedly refund your money.
You'll have to open a dispute, write the seller once and document it, and if they don't come thru, you'll get the money back in your account.
