I have a 2015 FC 23D with factory solar. Purchased this last year used at the end of the season very low milage and use. I have AMG batteries that are 2 years old that came with the trailer. I have noticed that at the end of the day (dark) the battery reads 95% charged @12.7v. During the day the battery reading is 100% and voltage is around 13.6V Amp hours are reading around 47 or so. My question is this normal voltage readings for good batteries or do I have a problem?
13.6 volts sounds like what you would get while an AGM is charging. 12.7 is what you would get on a relatively full battery after the charge cycle has been complete for an hour or. two. Sounds normal. Was your charger (or solar) running when you took the 13.6V measurement?
Voltages sound normal. Good AGMs should last 6 or 7 years at least if well maintained. As far as SOC (state of charge), check out the 12 volt column on the SOC chart on the bottom of page 32 in this lifeline battery technical guide. https://lifelinebatteries.com/wp-con...al-5-06-19.pdf
