Batteries not charging on shore power

2021 27ft Flying Cloud with Solar. Batteries will charge from solar or from TV but do not charge while on shore power. Thoughts ?

Does the converter have a fuse?

Should have at least one 30a.

Check the voltage on the output of the converter. It should increase to 13+ when the trailer is plugged into shore power. If it does change, the converter is not working. My Processive Dynamics converter has a fused output, not sure what you have.

A new converter might be in your future. Not a bad thing as there are much better replacements than the original.

Definitely a converter problem. I just changed one on my toy hauler, there are fuses on the back of the unit, but mine was tripping the breaker. The big problem was locating the thing. They will hide them wherever there is room. Mine was in the basement under the stairs to the bedroom. Also, everyone will tell you to help locate it just listen for the fan running.......well, if it's tripping the breaker no fan will be running. I always carry an assortment of tools, a battery charger being one. It's a good thing to have with you, if your converter goes out you can use the charger until you get the converter replaced. After all, thats all it is, is a fancy battery charger.
