Backup camera ground wire access

Our 2019 27 FB came with a Voyager backup camera factory installed. When the camera was working the signal strength indicator bounced up and down going from 3 to none and back as we moved down the road. Not a good sign. On our current trip the monitor image began to freeze and then go black with "no signal" displayed. We figured there was a loose connection to the camera since when it worked the image was good. When we unmounted the camera and bracket and attempted to tease the wires out of the hole the positive wire and heat-shrink butt connector to the trailer came out fine (and is perfectly tight) but the negative wire lead from the camera came out by itself leaving the negative wire from the trailer inside. The positive wire seems to lead down rather than up to the clearance lights. Any ideas on how to get the negative wire out of the trailer? If not possible what's the best alternative to fix? thanks

Working through this myself. The camera lost signal/ picture at the beginning of our current trip. Tried the pair, but wouldn’t. From time to time the signal would work, but just for a second or two.

Suspect a loose wire, but we’re on the road (no ladder). Will follow up upon our return home.

Ours is a 2021 International 27 FBQ. We have 25k miles on her and have had very few issues that we haven’t been able to work through. Hopefully this will be one of them.
