auxillary electric cord

I posted a couple photos (in my members gallery) of a mod I had the good folks at Airstream of Spokane do to my Safari. My not so portable portable battery/inverter pack now rides in the bed of my truck and I can plug an extension cord into the inverter and then into the extension cord that Doug fished thru the front of the trailer and terminated inside the credenza. So now I have a seperate AC circuit inside when I don't have shore power. it's also pretty handy here at home if you need AC and don't want to drag out the 30 amp cord.
I also posted a photo of some overtemp indicators I put on my wheels. They will turn black if the temp of the wheel exceeds 160f. With the current thread about wheels/studs being overheated i thought maybe this would be of interest to some. You can do a Google search for "over temperature indicators", theres a bunch of them out there.
finally, if you are in the Spokane area I HIGHLY recommend the folks at Airstream of Spokane. great folks, Doug in maintenance ROCKS! Nice to have them so close to home.
