Atwood lp gas detector/now no power

Hi all, now retired and trying to get everything ready for a life again. Our old atwood detector kept chirping and realized it was beyond time. Ordered the new smaller one and ready to put in. Not coming on. Checked the wires hooked to the old one with a meter and no power. Checked fuses and no problem there???
Any help would be appreciated

What fuses did you check? My trailer is different than yours (2013 25FB) and the power for the detector does not go through the main fuse box. In mine, the detector wire is directly attached to the input side of the use/store relay, hidden in the front right corner under the bed. The fuse is a glass in-line type, near that end of the wire.

thank you

Thank you so much for your help. I had forgotten that a direct battery hookup would have a fuse to the front of the trailer. Tore it apart and was able to get 1amp fuse at home depot(5 pack for $1.98).
Thank you again. all is working
