Adding 12v plugs...

Where are some good locations to add 12v receptacles? Where do I splice into the wiring? I want to add one to the rear by the beds for my C-pap and one in one of the exterior storage cabinets for the Winegard antenna..

12v outlets

We placed one mid-ship below the closet door to have a place to plug in the fantastic vent breeze fan. Placed another on the exterior just in front of the wheels on the banana wrap for some 12v lights and also the fan when under the awning. Used the exterior stainless steel outlets with the rubber cover purchased from Bass Pro Shop online. There were numerous 12v wires located along the side walls. Just pull out some drawers and you should have no problem finding one. I also installed an inline fuse with each receptacle.

Added 1 by the dinette under the window ledge for cell, camera and laptop battery chargers. Tapped into the wiring for the scare and door lights.
Never thought of a fan. Good idea.

Anywhere you can access a pair of wires. Just remember that Airstream ground wires are white and the ground wires on most, if not all, outlets are black. Polarity Can matter!

I added 2 in the bedroom, one in the bath, one in the galley, and one in the outside refrigerator compartment. I plug a fridge fan into that last one. From the outside outlet, I can also reach the tires on both sides with an inflator.

I added mine in the front storage compartment. It is connected under the bed and is fused. I should have added more, one on each side. My next is an AC located high to plug in awning lights
