AC and lighting problem in 2007 23' Safari SE

If I have the main lighting turned on in the living and galley area, the AC won't come on. I can't even power up the DVD player until I turn the lights in that area off. I notice the refrigerator fan and bath fans slow down whenever these lights are on.

The lights are round pucks about 3" in diameter. Can I get LED's to replace these or do I have a converter problem?
