'53 Cruiser Electrical System

We need a schematic diagram so we can work on the electrical system of our '53 trailer. Can anyone please advise me where I can download one (if there was one made in 1953)? Or, can anyone share their experience in making everything work in the trailer? We have some wirings that we don't know which it serves and lights that do not work.

I don't think that it exists, I have found in my 1954 Liner that there is only 120V wiring and it consists of two separate wires, not romex. There were two circuits in the trailer. Are you going to take the interior skin off? If so, you will see the wiring. I would not trust 53 year old wiring.

Like Bill said, do not trust the old wiring. When I removed the skin on my 54 Cruiser, there were several places where the insulation on the wires had chaffed on the aluminum exposing the conductor. One wire had even shorted and the previous owner had wired around the short. At any rate, the thing was a death trap. On my 67 Caravel, the 110v wiring was aluminum, and while doing that restoration I found areas behind the wall where the circuit had gotten hot, either from overloading or loose conductors, and burned the insulation off the wires. Wire is too cheap for those headaches.
