Does anyone know how long the 50A shore power cord is that ships with a 2019 Int'l Serenity 27FB??

It doesn't say in the specs, but I always thought they were 25'-30'.
I've never needed an extension. (yet)
But after you wrestle that Anaconda a few times, you'll be replacing it with something more suited to humans, like this from e-trailer.

They are about 30’. I bought a 15’ because the 30’ is a beast to get in and out, and in most cases you don’t need the 30’. I do travel with the 30’ to use if necessary. The 15’ is far far easier to use and if you can I would get one.

I also bought a 15’ cord and a 15’ extension cord. I have never had to use the extension. The monster that came with my Airstream stays at home.

I don’t understand why AS provides that monster power cord. It’s virtually impossible to use, especially when cold.

What they all said. I still use mine. It is 35 ft. Going to order a shorter one now.

Is that 90 degree angle worth paying extra for over the regular cord?

IMO, yes. But I'm not sure it's extra. The 90 deg allows the weight of the cable to hang straight down, thus removing the load off the Airstream connector. Also it reduces the chance of bumping it as you walk by, and finally, it looks cool.
Oh, wait. Were you thinking the 90 deg. was the only difference over the stock cable? Nay, nay. The OEM cable that comes with your Airstream cannot be easily coiled and it weighs a ton. If you can coil it in a 3' ring, you're doing good. It's hard to store.
The "Mighty Cord" and others similar are MUCH more flexible. They can easily be coiled to 18" and stored in the outside locker. That was the main reason I bought it, not just for the 90 degree connector.

No. I was all in when you said there was a reasonable cord. The stock one is awful, but I didn't know until now that there were better options. I found that Mighty Cord in both a regular and a slightly more expensive 90 degree version.

IMHO it is worth the difference in cost, about $10 more.

Having had other 50 amp cords, I knew the OEM one was uniquely bad.
The guys at e-Trailer actually went into the warehouse to see how tightly it coiled. They reported they did 16". I think Camco makes one also.
Since I've opened the door, I also have a 30 amp cord with a 50 amp female. If I have only 30 amp power, I use that one. It's like a feather compared to the stock AS cord. (My storage room has 30 amp, so I haven't lost my mind totally.)

The Valterra Mighty Cord that was pictured from etrailer, it that the 25' cord? I was looking for a little shorter, but since it is much more manageable, 25' will work. The first year we had our AS, I was fine with the factory cord. The second season, I tolerated it. Now I'm just tired of fighting with it. Thanks for the info.

I was hoping to find a 15 ft plus 15 ft extension, but in the red handle Valterra cord, it only comes in 25 ft. At least that is what the manufacturer's website says.
