50 amp doggoned to 30-which surge protector to use?

Hello,
We previously had a 30 amp Airstream and have the Progressive EMS protector in 30 amp.

We just traded to a new Airstream that is 50 amp. We purchased the Progressive 50 amp EMS protector.

My question is this.

In situations where the site only has 30 amps available and using a doggone 50 to 30 plug, does it matter which surge protector is used. Will one have any benefit over the other? Should we keep both?

Hi

The 50A protector will work fine in both cases (normal 50A and doggone 30A). There is no need to haul around anything extra.
