30 Amp Inlet Meltdown

This is the second time this happens. About 3 years ago the rear inlet 30A overheated, and I replaced the plug at the end of the power cable. I used mainly the front inlet since then. Now it happened on the front inlet. The plug got hot enough to melt the plastic and the blade moved to the point that it makes no contact at all. Now both inlets and the plug need to be replaced.

My question is did anybody find a reliable 30A inlet that is also reasonably priced? I looked at the SmartPlug option, but they are too expensive. I suppose being non-standard with no UL approval they have to carry high priced insurance. There are plenty of options on Amazon, but none of them discussing overheating problem. I suppose 30A connection is not something that anybody would expect to overheat.

I am looking at this inlet from Amazon. Marine grade, and indicator. Is there enough room to use this for the front inlet as well?
