30 Amp flexible power cord

I have searched the forum for info on a 30 amp power cord that is more flexible then the one that came with our 2012 AS, however I see most discussions about 50 amp cords.. Looking for advice and recommendations. Thank in advance

If you change out to a smart plug, you'll find the cable is much more flexible, plus you'll have a better system.

I'm very happy with the Voltek.
Mine is a bit different since it has a 50 amp female (I have 50 amp power) I bought it because my storage room has a 30 amp outlet.
I find it's very handy for campgrounds where 50 amp is not available.
It coils easily and the molded plugs are sturdy.

Also available as a 30/30

you'll need to build one if you want 'very' flexible. Use SOOW cable.

My two cents

I have a 50 amp trailer and the power cord from Airstream was a beast to handle especially when it was cold. I switched to a Mighty Cord because of recommendations on this forum and the difference was night and day.

I understand you are talking 30amp but I would imagine you would have a similar benefit switching to Mighty Cord. I really like the cord with the right angle adaptor at the trailer end.

+2 on the Mighty Cord

We also have the 50A version of the Mighty Cord that Dave recommended and find it’s very flexible and do like the right angle on the trailer side. I’m sure the 30A version is lighter but still flexible.

I vote for SOOW also; I’m an industrial electrician and that is our go-to product fir flexibility and durability.

I struggled with the 50Amp cord for a few years before just trying to pick up a couple of feet at a time and push it into the locker. Rather than picking the entire coil up and manhandling it into the little opening, I just pick up a foot or two at a time and make the coil inside the locker. Just another part of the "Airstream Exercise Program" that comes standard with most models.
