2nd AC on 2007 31' Classic

Need some help! We recently bought a used 2007 31' Classic that originated in Phoenix where the original owners had a 2nd AC mounted in the bedroom. There is an additional 30 amp shore power connector next to the original one and a second breaker box mounted behind the original in the bedroom. My dillema is this, if I plug into the original connection I do not get power to the 2nd unit. If I plug into the second outlet the bedroom AC works fine but the rest of the coach does not have shore power. The control unit in the dining area is set up for zones 1 & 2 but only functions as described. Will I be forced to run two 30 amp lines or am I missing something here. I suspect two AC's cant be run on a single 30 amp circuit hence the additional 30 amp connection and breaker. And it was probably cheaper to run the second line as opposed to rewiring to a 50 amp service. If that is the case is it common to find RV Park hookups that offer two 30 amp connections? When hit with the recent heat wave in the Northwest one AC wouldn't suffice. I can take some pictures and post if needed. Please help!

You need to run separate 30A Power cords. If the power pedestal you are connecting to has a 50A outlet, you can use that with a Y connector that has a 50A male and two 30A females.

Or, if it a pedestal with a 30A and a 50A, you can run one cord with a 50A/30A dog bone and the other straight up.

All that is on the newer 30A circuit is that 2nd A/C.
