2017 23fb Flying Cloud - where to put hardwire surge protector?

I am confused about the lines coming into my panel and which is the one to strip and put the surge protector inline with. My goal is to protect regardless of the shore power source, so I think this would be the easiest. Help!

I am pretty sure its the orange cable, but not sure and a little nervous about splicing Thanks!

Howdy! Unplug the AS!!!!

The cable coming from your power inlet is going to the main circuit interrupter in the box. That cable is removed from the interrupter and the protector goes between the cable and the circuit interrupter

Of course, everything would be turned off prior

The wire with the split loom is probably the power cable from the power connection.

If you open the front of the power box, the 'master' breaker should be connected to that wire.

PM me with your result.. we can probably have phone discussion easier.
