2015 International converter / charger single or multi stage

A buddy of mine just acquired a 2015 International 27FB and we are trying to determine what type of converter / charger it is equipped with. I have a 2013 International 25RB so I know what I have and how to manage the battery charging but my buddies 2015 appears to be acting differently than mine.

Does the 2015 have a multi stage converter for battery charging.

On the 2015 we are getting Battery reading in the high 13s while plugged into shore power. Turn off the store use button and continue to get high 13 readings a couple hours later. Disconnected from shore power and immediately got battery readings of 12.7 12.8 that stayed consistent over night.

To me it appears that the batteries are getting charged the entire time it is plugged in to shore power with or without the store use button on. This is different that my 2013

Trying to understand what is happening.

Thanks in advance for your responses.
