To be fair, when you say "weight is similar" it is actually 60% increase in weight over the EU2200i, which is a dry weight of 46.5# and the EF2400ISHC has a dry weight of 75#. If we look at this from "safe to handle" guidelines from OSHA, the EU2x000i fits within the guidelines for a single person to lift (<50#), while the Yamaha absolutely falls into the "use two or more people to lift" category.
