12 Volt wires in closet next to the breaker box???
On my 1976 31' Excella 500 my breaker box is in the closet just behind the wheel well. I believe this makes it a Canadian elect. code unit. In the lower left closet wall is a red/white 12 volt wires. It's hot all the time. What would they be for? The closet lights source power from another wire so that's not it.
1) Power to a disconnect relay
2) Power to a detector (smoke / LP / CO)
3) Power to the breakaway switch
4) Power *from* the 7 pin cable
5) Power from a solar charger
Indeed some of that would not have been stock back in the 1970's. Some of it would more typically been run straight to the battery. It's an AS .... one can never say "always" ....
