My husband and I just purchased our first airstream today! 25' Safari Se Fb and have already scheduled Huntington Beach, CA and El Capitan, Ca for the Easter Week! Anyone else out there going to those sites the week before Easter?

Great Taste

The airstream has been a dream of mine since I was a small girl Now a reality! Valencia is an area I travel to for business but am always planted in hotels. Definately looking forward to spending more time at some of our local beaches and state parks! Any suggestions on the type of vehicle to tow. I currently own a Sequoia that is already at the max for towing capacity, 6500 lbs. Hate to spend too many bucks on a towing vehicle as my dollars went into my Airstream.

Welcome to the forums.

I really liked the 25' fb I saw from Airstream of Arkansas at the RV show. It has an ideal setup allowing to sleep up to six people if 4 of them are short enough.

Why don't you bring your trailer down to stay in? There's some nice RV parks in Castiac.

The next time your in town you can join my wife and I for dinner. Try to sneak your husband down too.

I have to ask. What business brings you to Valencia?

Trucks are another story. I prefer a 3/4 ton for the 25 footer but some tow it with 1/2 tons. Really you just need to figure your various wieghts and and keep your trailer at %80 of max. If you run "Can I tow this" on the search function you'll get more information than you know what to do with.

The good news is that if you do have to get a larger truck used ones are really going cheap these days.
