Young'n checking in

Hello all. Just wanted to introduce myself. Name is Cliff and I'm the ripe ol age of 28. I have to be one of the youngest out there? I myself am restoring a 54 Flying Cloud. Also in the family is a 84' 31' Excella which seems to be used mainly between myself and my brother (old man 30 yo ) If it wasn't for my grandfather taking us on trips when we were young I dont think I'd be as crazy with these things as I am now. Funny part is they seemed much bigger back then Well hope to see you guys around.

Well welcome to the forum Cliff, but be carefull what you say to us oldtimers. You would be very surprised to know that you are not alone out there in your age group. In fact I know several AS owners who are under 20! You are going to make a bunch of new friends here and using the search funtion above will get you to a weath of great information. Of course you will learn that we all love AS and we have an urgent need to see pictures as you restore your FC. Keep us posted, welcome and post some pictures!

Welcome to the forums Cliff. As I recall there was a young man who had an Airstream a year or two ago and was too young to have it titled in his name. That didn't stop his restoration job. It'll be finished about the time he can put it in his name. Keep us informed about the progress of your Flying Cloud and show us some photos along the way. It will be a great source of your pride as you go, when you are finished, and many years down the "road". Pardon the pun.

Good luck and happy camping.

Tom, AKA Minnie's Mate

Welcome !! Sure looking forward to seeing your Flying Cloud. I am new to this and just got back for St. Augustine.... Went to my very first vintage Open House... That, to me, was the highlight of the trip!! Good Luck!!
