We're new

After two years of on-line (and on-lot) shopping for our first RV, we decided to go 'Airstream' and recently purchased a new 25' Flying Cloud. We're still in the orientation, shakedown mode: going slow, staying close to home, making mistakes (hopefully only small ones!) and learning. Our last outing we stayed 3 nights at the nearby Laguna Seca Recreation Area. We don't have a lot of experience, but I must say, that is a beautiful park, perched on a high bluff overlooking the scenic route 68 corridor. We had a great time with several friends dropping in for drinks and dinner. Looking forward to fun and adventure!

Hello from Colorado: Welcome to the Airstream community. Airstreams originated in southern California thanks to the aviation industry located there. Maybe it was easy to find people who knew how to work aluminum and drive rivets.

We've been Airstreaming since 05, and now that we are retired, plan to do more of it. It is great fun, and keeps us young.
