Well here we are

Hi all, have been reading some of the forums and it seems like a nice bunch of folks. We have been bitten by the bug and are shopping for our first A\S. We bought a tow vehicle yesterday and have many questions to pose. We are a middle aged couple, I am retired, Sara still works part time. We are owned by a 3 yr old Sheltie so having him with us on our travels is of prime importance. We are folk musicians, Sara plays celtic harp and I play mtn dulcimer, penny whistles, recorders and native American flute. That's probably enough to start with.

Welcome to the forums. There are many of us middle aged folks here who also got smitten. Look through the classifieds for a nice selection of used Airstreams. Good luck with your search.

Welcome Pete & Sara ... good luck in your search for an Airstream.

There are many other musicians here ... in fact, I think one of the Mods ... Janet ... also plays a celtic harp ... or something like that.

Chaplain Kent might be premature here. His profile sez he's 2 months younger than I but methinks he goes too soon into that long good night... . But yes, Pete & Sara, welcome to an adventuresome obsession!

Smile Welcome....

Your comment about being middle aged got me to wondering....

Just what IS middle age now? They keep moving the goal line it seems.

We found our baby in a back alley, in sad shape but workable. Hubby said the other day that we finally found another hobby (besides genealogy) that we are both interested in. With any luck, "Moby" will be on the road next spring. And we have 2 1/2 years to retirement.

Good luck in your search and don't forget to join us in the chat room on Tuesday evenings 9:00 p.m. EDT
