welcome to our newest member! tag u r it....
ok, here is a new thread that could be fun and ongoing....
or not...
notice in the upper right on the portal page...
the forum "stats" which include posts, threads, and a membership count...
currently at 17,622
also lisited is the newest member and right now that's anacapaisian...
what an interesting forum name....
http://www.airforums.com/forum...capaislan.html
yes, these folks get reminders they've not posted yet
and occasionally some respond by posting an intro message...
but most do not...
how about we all beat the prompt with a real welcome!
so as new members appear lets send them personal messages of welcome...
and add a post here in THIS thread as it happens....
sort of like a 'tag and release' program for salmon....silver salmon!
or big game hunting where new members are bagged as trophy...
and perhaps these new folks will reply right back here (give them the link)
so i am sending a pm right now to anacapaisian, right now...
who's next?
cheers

OK, let's welcome 17627, mary kay!
http://www.airforums.com/forum...ary%2Bkay.html
Mary kay has already posted, and a personal welcome is on the way. I can't help it, I'm having visions of her new 1964 Bambi II being towed by a lovely sleek pink Cadillac. I know . . . . the name is probably a coincidence, but I think the pink would look cool.

In the Airstream world, that should be a "Vulkum Vagon".

Ok, 2air, two of us have joined in with welcomes on this thread, but you have something different going on in your posts. Where do you get the http://. . . .thingie? What must seem obvious, seems muddy to me. I understand that you are sending some kind of private message welcome with this?? Neat idea. But how? Baby step lessons please for the tech-impaired among you, please ~G

hi g and thanks for playing...
i've bagged a few 'game' so far....
click on the new members 'name' in blue...
this will take you to their 'profile page'
which list the info they've included so far...name, location, trailers and so on...
then copy the url from that page....paste in the post....
that's all i'm doing....
IF they have enabled 'private messages', i then send them a pm...
with a link back to the this thread...
cheers

Let's welcome minikirk, our newest member who is from Redondo Beach, CA.
http://www.airforums.com/forum.../minikirk.html
Minikirk is "currently looking" for an Airstream. Never fear, you'll find help here.
PM's aren't activiated, but the welcome is there anyway. Hey, 2air, do your little helpers get to share the milk money?

Sales Director of Airstream Europe!
I've got to bring this thread back to welcome a new member, Michael Hold (screen name: mhold). He has an exciting job with Airstream Europe. I sure have been intrigued with their designs but it has been hard to understand how the introduction has been going. I certainly know that we get quite a few new members signing up from Great Britain; those inquiring about Airstreams are often referred to consider the new Airstream Europe products.
Michael -- Welcome aboard! I hope you find reason to participate in Airstream Forums and share some fun information with us aluminum fanatics.

Welcome to Sid. Just found out he is virtually a neighbor. We already have a tentative date to meet with our wives for dinner in the near future. Sid has a new 22' and says he is brand new to the camping scene. Welcome Sid.

Thanks for that real friendly welcome...AS Airstream Europe gathers pace,we really expect more and more 'Streamers to materialise on Eu and beyond roads and camping sites...The 1st Eu Airstream has just arrived in the Gulf as a Shaikh in Bahrain has just taken delivery of a new 532...The 1st Eu Twin axles are now on the Atlantic heading this way, whilst 3 x Vintage models have also just landed....We expect to sell new and Vintage side by side in our new facility in the Lake District of England ( junction 38 of the M6) ...depending on demand we would love to offer Airstream rigs for rentals...all in good time eh?...aftre all, it has taken 75 years to get this far over here....This year will also see us showing our 532/534 and 684 models in Germany.....and hopefully taking a small stand at Europe's top RV Show in Dusseldorf later this year....a new talented and enthusiastic Marketing Director ( Stuart Hicks) has just joined the Eu team..he will be keeping our Europe website details up to date at airstream.com....check us out for upcoming events.....in the next few years we hope to see an Airstream Club being formed and the 1st Eu Rally being held...at the moment an Airstream is so rare it can cause a traffic jam!
That's all for now....now have to draft up our invite to the 1st showing of the much awaited twin axle 684...over 600 prospective 'streamers on the UK Database alone....2007 is looking good for Airstream...at last!
