Just purchased our 2007 Bambi 19" and have started reading owner's manuals.
Have already learned alot from this forum...like where to get our service done and other little tips. I am a designer and we are looking forward to making the interior space very unique (already calling in the favors from the brain trust for ideas and suggestions). We like the contemporary interiors of the CCD and DWR models...so probably heading in that direction.
Good places to camp for a quick weekend near us (the beach or the mountains ...Idyllwild) and looking forward to our first long trip. Mrs. is a gourmet cook so the AS will have us treking in simple luxury.
We have camped in tents for years so this will be a serious step up.
Thanks all for the years of knowledge and we hope to contribute soon.

Keep an eye out for the California Streamers Rallys, very casual, no rules, no membership, just friendly folks with all kinds of Airstreams getting together at RV parks and campgrounds in California, mostly in So Cal. Rallys are a great way to learn more about your AS, in addition to the forum.

Time has it right. AIR rallies are loads of fun & help plug you into relationships that will assist you with ideas for upkeep and preventive maintenance.
