We got one! Hip hip Hurrayyyy!

This weekend was a very exciting weekend for our little family! Scott and I drove to Kansas City (500 miles) to pick up our 1st Airstream, she is also our 1st RV. A beautiful 1966 Tradewind! We still can't believe it!

Spring can't come soon enough!

Fantastic

Congratulations, I am glad you found the trailer to be in the condition you wanted. Now we just need to get you into the Vintage Airstream Club.

Congrats! That's a handsome trailer and it looks it be in great shape.

I really identify with your trip - one year ago today, we had just returned from a 700 mile (each way) trip to get our T@B.

Thanks so much everyone, it was love at 1st sight. And it just kept getting better as we stepped inside, we knew she was the one! Clyde, you were right they took such great care of her and to top that -they are very nice people too! I mentioned to them that you had told me how nice the unit was, that input was key!
We are so glad we have her, we will take great care of her too!
She will be the photo for our Christmas cards this year for sure!

Partial to the Trade Wind

Never could get the right deal on one of those 60's Trade Winds so I got a 72. Drove 1000 miles to Orlando to get her and after counting out $100 bills and driving away I still couldn't believe I had actually bought her. So congrats, I know the feeling well. Better than getting a puppy for Christmas!

Congratulation on a very nice Airstream. Why wait until Spring? Come on down to the Canopener in Florida in January! We would all drool over your new baby!
