We did it! Proud new owners of a 1982 280 Classic Motorhome!
Hubby is on his way with a check to get a driving lesson and pick up the title. Then it's on to insurance, getting seatbelts installed, and what else? He won't be bringing it home just yet, probably need another lesson or two and the plates and insurance before we drive it the 45 miles home and try to navigate our narrow driveway.
Any good get-started lists?
It has new tires and is said to be ready to take on a trip--just the dash A/C is not working well. We hope to get the safety belts installed as soon as we can so we can take the kids on our first trip.
Congratulations. We, too, are proud owners of a new to us, 1984 Classic 270. We found it in Ohio and went to look at it and bought it, early April '09.
