Warm Welcome

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I know there will be many questions to come.. First is...we need a door lock '73 Sov. Does anyone refurbish old locks. This is probably a question for a different thread. Any guidance will be appreciated. Happy Day J & M

We have a 75 and our door lock is needing to be replaced. Okay here's the shocker I have found these replacements anywhere from $149 up to $350.
But just this week I heard from this forum about a place where you could get it for $90 it is George Sutton RV 541-686-6296 and talk with Sean. Also these locks need to be fabricated in some way to work. Hope this helps.
And also welcome to the forums.

Hi hantri,
There are SOME and I emphasize the some parts available for the KT locks. My local locksmith was able to rebuild mine. If yours is missing or broken your only recourse is to spent several hundred dollars for an orginal or buy a different version and use the patch plate. Here is the kit, they run in the $200 range.
Good Luck and let us know how you make out.

Aaron

Thanks for the info. We have the outside portion but I believe we are missing an inside handle of some kind. Look forward to looking at some vintage units..
