My wife & I are determined! We long for the days of our youth as newlyweds crossing the country with windsurfs strapped on top the VW camper... Well the windsurfs are gone but the wanderlust lives and now is the time. I continue to lurk and shop, soon we will find the perfect Airstream. I hope to meet many of you on the road, on the water, along the trail...

We had two VW busses back in the day, and camp life was about all we could afford back then, in a tent. Like you we lurked and shopped for about a year. Tomorrow we take off on our first Airstream Adventure in our pride and joy. Welcome to the family. Look for 1927 on the road. We'll be out there a lot.

Hey, you got her! Great for you. Since our last post of 4-23-11 we taken ours to 38 states and two provinces of Canada. The fun is just beginning.

Took a lot longer to get road ready and safe than I thought! Last Sept. 5000 miles out west, this Sept. Biltmore Estate in NC. Countless weekenders around S. Florida.
