Two Cats in a Tin Can

Hello! I finally got my AS! After months of looking and years of day-dreaming I am the caretaker of a 1970 31 ft Sovereign with saggy britches, strong bones, and original interior. He was right in my price range with my expected repairs... yeah I'll let you know how long it takes for me to blow the budget
But I'm so excited to get started cleaning this beast up and learning just how in-over-my-head I'm getting. Thank you all for the repair advice so far-- I've been reading tons! Also loving the instagram airstream community as well so will post pictures there @meowndering Not sure I have much to offer here yet because I know nothing! But I am appreciative of all your help and am so happy to officially join this awesome community <3

Welcome! Love your "name"! Will there be kitties in your trailer?

Thanks! and yes, they are one of the biggest reasons to live in the AS is so I can take them with me (will be travelling a fair amount in next two years). They both "sit", "stay", and "shake" as well as use the toilet-- which I hope is a bonus in a confined space... We'll see.

Welcome to the forum, and congratulations on finding just the right Airstream for you. It was an exciting day when I found my Safari. I look forward to watching your progress on the restoration.

Ropes Course

Also if anyone is in the Tulsa to OKC area with knowledge on this beast I'd happily bring beer or ice cream if you can show me the ropes on mine or a similar vintage. My schedule is pretty full these days but I thought I'd throw that out there!
