the siren's song

Been reading the forum and getting all the tips for "free" since i bought my '76 soverign 31 footer July of 2010. Guess it's time to add my name to the roster and maybe even correctly answer a question one day.

Got our (me and the wife) trailer from a friend who's dad GAVE him the trailer. Went to Eastern Washington to pick it up with my buddy and on the way home he decided that a 31 foot trailer was not his cup of tea. $2k later i've got a project and a toy for me and the family! we've been using it, and updating it, but not to the extent of some of you folks out here in forum land. Not to mention any names... but Rex Crabbtree... is my hero.

the way it was explained to me by the wife, was this. "i'm not going anywhere in that thing with those curtains". so, that's the stuff we've been doing. new fridge, new tires... and some sweet custom curtains with ironboard fabric on the outside so they look like the skin. Otherwise we are trying to just use it and see the country.

All the posters seemed real nice, and with this much info at the fingertips, seemed like the place to be if you have an AS.
